Our delegation has settled in and enjoying beautiful Damacus. The sights, the sounds, the tastes and the hustle and bustle - so much to take in!
We had the pleasure of meeting with a wonderful couple earlier this evening and enjoying the Damascus night sky from their rooftop terrace. We also meet with a couple of the Syrian doctors that have organized the medical symposium that will take place on Thursday. We had met these doctors when we were here last May and it was wonderful to see them again.
Tomorrow we will be meeting with some of the Iraqi refugees. Thanks to your support, we will be able to provide them with humanitarian aid.
The kindness, generosity and hospitality of the Syrian people brings joy to my heart!
